Hideki is an Associate Professor at The University of Tokyo, Japan. His research interests centre on runtime platforms and system-level design methodology for embedded, real-time and IoT computing.
He is deeply woven into the tech community, active in NervesJP, the ROS Japan Users Group, IoT ALGYAN, hls-friends and the TOPPERS project, and he serves on the Embedded and EPC Working Groups of the Erlang Ecosystem Foundation. He is also one of the maintainers behind Giocci, the resource-permeating computing platform he brings to the Informal Space.
